Background/Experience:
A Texas Department of Public Safety, Special Agent (Retired) with over 30 years of public safety experience, who is highly trained in tactical operations, Courthouse Security Security, Church Security, Dignitary Protection, and Self-Defense. Effective firearm instructor, who is knowledgeable in firearms safety, marksmanship, analyzing/correcting shooter imperfections, use of force, self defense, handguns, tactical/sporting rifles and shotguns.

He has had the pleasure of sharing his heart in the training of new recruits, seasoned field officers and private citizens in firearms safety, marksmanship operations, and use of force. At a young age he accepted a higher call to do the will of God by becoming a beacon of liberty, justice, and safety in society; and has spent the majority of his life protecting and serving the people of this great State and Nation. He remains dedicated & focused on equipping the people with the knowledge and confidence to protect themselves both at home or away.

Classroom Instruction
4 - 6 hours of classroom instruction required

Handgun Proficiency Demonstration and Qualification
A minimum score of 175 out of 250 is required to successfully complete the proficiency demonstration.
Basic firearms safety and marksmanship training offered to prepare students for qualification
Qualifications will be held at indoor or outdoor shooting ranges as weather and availability permits.
